Airo introduce new articulated and mast boom lifts
Renowned Italian lift manufacturer Airo are launching some new fantastic models to add to their articulated and mast boom range. As the UK dealer for Airo we are delighted to be able to offer you these performance machines at competitive rates and with the option of finance for your purchases.
The battery powered booms have class-leading performance with 230kg platform capacity and outreach of 7.5 and 8.9 metres respectively. Features include zero tailswing, 370 degrees slew, optional 140 degree jib rotation with 180 degrees of platform rotation. Dimensions for the A12JE are 1.2 metres wide, 4.6 metres long in transport mode and just under two metres high. Up and over height is 4.7 metres.
The A15JE is wider at 1.5 metres, 4.9 metres long and the same height with similar boom and jib performance. Up and over height is six metres. Both weigh around 7.5 tonnes and have 6kph drive speeds and high ground clearance for easier loading and unloading.
Both are fully – boom and drive functions – AC controlled and use steel hydraulic lines with flexible hoses used where there is a pivot. The lack of exposed cabling/hosing makes them ideal for the M&E sector.
The battery powered V8E and V10E mast booms are both under one metre wide, offer an outreach of 3.3 metres, have 355 degrees slew and 200kg platform capacity. The two units have 8.1 and 9.86 metre working heights. Both have AC wheel drive motors and 6kph travel speeds.
All models use full traction batteries for longer cycle times and on average of two years longer battery life expectancy.
